    To note the Commission liaison guidance visit occurred on January 31, 2023. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2028-2029.
  • November 17, 2022
    To acknowledge receipt of the self-study report. To note that the institution hosted a virtual site visit in lieu of an on-site visit in accordance with the United States Department of Education (USDE) guidelines published March 17, 2020. To warn the institution that its accreditation may be in jeopardy because of insufficient evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with Standard VI (Planning, Resources, and Institutional Improvement) and Requirement of Affiliation 10. To note that the institution remains accredited while on warning. To note further that federal regulations limit the period during which an institution may be in non-compliance. To request a monitoring report due July 5, 2023 demonstrating evidence that the institution has achieved and can sustain ongoing compliance with Standard VI and Requirement of Affiliation 10, including but not limited to documenting clearly-stated, aligned, and coherent institutional and unit objectives, with evidence of the implementation of a systematic, organized, and sustained assessment process demonstrating that institutional and unit stakeholders have considered and used assessment results in planning, budgeting, and the improvement of institutional and unit effectiveness (Standard VI and Requirement of Affiliation 10). To request the monitoring report also provide evidence of (1) the development and implementation of organized and systematic assessments that evaluate the extent of student achievement (Standard V); (2) demonstrated and documented use of assessment results to improve educational effectiveness (Standard V); and (3) periodic assessment of the effectiveness of assessment processes utilized by the institution for the improvement of educational effectiveness (Standard V). To direct a follow-up team visit following submission of the monitoring report. To note the visit may also fulfill the verification requirements of the USDE guidelines. To direct a prompt Commission liaison guidance visit to discuss the Commission's expectations. Upon reaffirmation of accreditation, the next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2028-2029.

    To delay the On-Site Evaluation visit scheduled for Spring 2021 due to extraordinary circumstances related to coronavirus (COVID-19) interruptions and to continue accreditation. To note the institution remains accredited during a delay granted by the Commission. The Evaluation visit will be scheduled in accordance with Commission policy and procedures.

To include the second Associate degree program (Associate of Science in Criminal Justice) within the institution's scope of accreditation. To note the Commission may rescind this action if the requested substantive change is not implemented within one calendar year from the date of this action.     To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To approve the relocation of the IBC-Amerihealth additional location from 602 W. Office Center Drive, Fort Washington, PA 19034 to 1901 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 and to include the new additional location provisionally within the scope of the institution's accreditation pending a site visit within six months of the commencement of operations at this locations. The Commission requires written notification within 30 days of the commencement of operations at this additional location and the closure of the other location. In the event that operations at the additional location do not commence within one calendar year from the approval of this action, approval will lapse.

    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request and to include the additional locations at (1) Cedar College, 100 College Drive, Allentown, PA 18104; and (2) The Philadelphia Police Academy, 2328 Woodhaven Road, 2nd floor, Philadelphia, PA 19154 within the scope of the institution's accreditation. The Commission requires written notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations at these additional locations. In the event that operations at the additional locations do not commence within one calendar year from the approval of this action, approval will lapse.
