The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or the Commission) policy and procedures require that peer evaluators ascertain and review specific information about a destination before traveling abroad.

The United States Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs provides information on travel advisories, international travel and information by country.  Be sure to read country-specific details that could affect your travel, such as entry/exit requirements, local laws and customs, health conditions, transportation, and other relevant topics.

Travelers are strongly encouraged to register for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (found at https://step.state.gov/step/) which is a free service of the US government for US citizens traveling or living in a foreign country. STEP helps the State Department assist in times of emergency and provides updates, travel alerts and other important information.
