    Staff acted on behalf of the Commission to acknowledge receipt of the supplemental information report requested by the Commission action of July 1, 2024, and the additional information requested by the Commission on March 25, 2025. To acknowledge receipt of the signed written agreement with the correctional facility partner and written evidence of the oversight entity's permission to offer the Prison Education Program at the Sing Sing Correctional Facility, 354 Hunter Street, Ossining, NY 10562. To include the prison education program (PEP) - additional location at Sing Sing Correctional Facility, 354 Hunter Street, Ossining, NY 10562 within the institution's scope of accreditation. To note the Commission has evaluated and approved the following PEP educational program and subsequent program to be offered at the location: (1) A.S., Liberal Arts and Sciences - Prison Education Program and (2) B.S., Behavioral Science - Prison Education Program. To require the institution to submit a supplemental information report for the Sing Sing Correctional Facility - PEP, due December 6, 2027, providing: (1) an update on the implementation of the prison education programs; (2) submission of the best interest determination required by federal regulation, including the methodology used by the oversight entity; and (3) the data indicators used in the best interest determination. To note the substantive change site visit directed by the Commission action of July 1, 2024, is now required as soon as practicable but no later than six months after the date of this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2031-2032.

    Staff acted on behalf of the Commission to request a supplemental information report, due September 12, 2025, addressing the action taken by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) and providing additional information on Standard III: Design and Delivery of the Student Learning Experience, Standard IV: Support of the Student Experience, and Standard V: Educational Effectiveness Assessment. To remind the institution of its obligation to inform the Commission about any and all developments relevant to this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2031-2032.

    To include the reclassification of the additional location at Sing Sing Correctional Facility, 354 Hunter Street, Ossining, NY 10562 to a Second Chance Pell Experimental Site. To note that the following programs are offered at the location: (1) A.S., Liberal Arts and Sciences and (2) B.S., Behavioral Science. To request a supplemental information report, due April 1, 2025, that provides an update on the specific milestones that demonstrate progress toward developing an approved Prison Education Program (PEP) as provided in the amended Program Participation Agreement (PPA), including: (1) signed written agreement with its correctional facility partner; (2) written evidence of the oversight entity's permission to offer the PEP at the correctional facility; and (3) written documentation of assurances that the oversight entity will provide the best interest determination for the proposed program and provide transfer and release data for students enrolled in the approved program(s) to the institution. To direct a substantive change site visit as soon as practicable but no later than six months after the date of this action. To note that the Commission may rescind this action if the substantive change is not implemented or the institution's participation in the experiment is terminated by the United States Department of Education (USDE).
