To request a supplemental information report due October 1, 2024, providing written evidence of review, including but not limited to approval of or a determination that the entity has declined to review the transaction, from all outstanding required licensing, regulatory, or other legal entities as necessary, including New York State Education Department (NYSED) and the United States Department of Education (USDE) (Standard II and Substantive Change Policy and Procedures). To remind the institution of its obligation to inform the Commission immediately about any and all significant developments that may impact the institution's closure. To note that the monitoring report is no longer due because the institution is closing. To note that accreditation will cease on December 31, 2024. As of January 1, 2025, The College of Saint Rose will no longer be accredited by the Middles States Commission on Higher Education.

To note that accreditation will cease on December 31, 2024. To note the institution will maintain accreditation for the sole purpose of implementing the teach-out plan and agreements. To approve the teach-out agreements with (1) Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Albany, NY; (2) Adelphi University, Garden City, NY; (3) Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY; (4) Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY; (5) Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, North Adams, MA; (6) Messiah University, Mechanicsburg, PA; (7) Misericordia University, Dallas, PA; (8) Russell Sage College, Troy, NY; and (9) SUNY Oneonta, Oneonta, NY. To require resubmission of a comprehensive and implementable teach-out plan by May 17, 2024, documenting (1) the finalized agreement for transfers of records; (2) an update on the dissolution of the degree-granting authority; (3) evidence that communications regarding student records have occurred; (4) copies of any new signed teach-out agreements, including any documentation supporting the agreements; and (5) evidence that SUNY at Albany, Albany, NY has been designated as the final repository of all The College of Saint Rose student records and that students may obtain academic records at SUNY at Albany, 1400 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12222 (Teach-Out Plans and Agreements Policy and Procedures). In accordance with Commission policy and federal regulations, the teach-out plan must provide for the equitable treatment of students to complete their education if the Commission were to withdraw accreditation and include any signed, teach-out agreements that the institution has entered or intends to enter into with another institution. To note the Commission will reject the teach-out plan and/or agreements and require resubmission if all of the required information is not provided.

    To acknowledge receipt of the institution's notification on November 30, 2023, of its intention to cease instruction at all locations on June 30, 2024. To require that the institution submit a substantive change request for Institutional Closure by January 8, 2023, as required by the Commission's Substantive Change Policy and Procedures and Substantive Change Guidelines. To note that the monitoring report, due January 16, 2024, is now due August 1, 2024.

    To note that the Commission liaison guidance visit occurred on August 22, 2023. Upon reaffirmation of accreditation, the next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2030-2031.

    To acknowledge receipt of the self-study report. To note the on-site evaluation visit by the Commission's representatives to the main campus at 423 Western Ave., Albany, NY 12203 on March 26-29, 2023. To warn the institution that its accreditation may be in jeopardy because of insufficient evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with Standard VI (Resources, Planning, and Institutional Improvement). To note that the institution remains accredited while on warning. To note further that federal regulations limit the period during which an institution may be in non-compliance, which starts June 22, 2023. To request a monitoring report, due January 16, 2024, demonstrating evidence that the institution has achieved and can sustain ongoing compliance with Standard VI, including but not limited to (1) sufficiency of resources to fulfill its mission and goals and to support its educational purposes and programs (Standard VI) and (2) financial planning and budget processes that are aligned with mission, goals and objectives and are evidence-based (Standard VI). To request that the monitoring report also include further evidence of (1) demonstrated and documented use of assessment results to improve educational effectiveness (Standard V) and (2) periodic assessment of the effectiveness of assessment processes utilized by the institution for the improvement of educational effectiveness (Standard V). To direct a follow-up team visit following submission of the monitoring report. To note that Recommendation Responses in conjunction with the Annual Institutional Update (AIU) are no longer required. To direct a prompt Commission liaison guidance visit to discuss the Commission's expectations. Upon reaffirmation of accreditation the next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2030-2031.

The date for the next accreditation review will be determined by the Commission when it revises the accreditation cycle.
