    To acknowledge receipt of the self-study report. To note the on-site evaluation visit by Commission representatives to the main campus at 4701 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21210 on March 29-April 1, 2026. To note the following additional locations were visited: (1) 201 East University Parkway, Baltimore, MD 21218; (2) 345 St. Paul Place, Baltimore, MD 21202; (3) 4940 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224; (4) 5601 Loch Raven Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21239; (5) 900 Caton Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229; and (6) 3001 S. Hanover Street, Baltimore, MD 21225. To warn the institution that its accreditation may be in jeopardy because of insufficient evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with Standard V (Educational Effectiveness Assessment) (Fourteenth Edition and Evidence Expectations by Standard). To note that the institution remains accredited while on warning. To note further that federal regulations limit the period during which an institution may be in non-compliance, which started on June 25, 2026. To request a monitoring report, due February 16, 2027, demonstrating evidence that the institution has achieved and can sustain ongoing compliance with Standard V (Educational Effectiveness Assessment), including but not limited to organized and systematic assessments, conducted by appropriate professionals, evaluating the extent of student achievement of institutional and program goals (Fourteenth Edition and Evidence Expectations by Standard Guidelines). To request the monitoring report also include further evidence of a financial planning and budgeting process that is aligned with the institution's mission and goals, evidence-based, and clearly linked to the institution's strategic plans (Standard VI) (Fourteenth Edition and Evidence Expectations by Standard Guidelines). To direct a follow-up team visit following submission of the monitoring report. To direct a prompt Commission liaison guidance visit to discuss Commission expectations. The date of the next evaluation will be determined upon reaffirmation of accreditation.

    Staff acted on behalf of the Commission to acknowledge receipt of the supplemental information report requested by the Commission action of November 21, 2024. To acknowledge receipt of evidence of approval, dated August 28, 2025, from the United States Department of Education (USDE) of the merger with MUIH and receipt of the institution's updated Eligibility and Certification Approval Report (ECAR) reflecting the inclusion of the additional location of 7750 Montpelier Road, Laurel, MD 20723. To note the Commission action of January 23, 2026, for Maryland University of Integrative Health. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2025-2026.
  • February 24, 2025
    Staff acted on behalf of the Commission to rescind the substantive change action of February 23, 2024, for inclusion of the additional location at 11301 Springfield Rd., Laurel, MD 20708 within the institution's scope of accreditation because the change was not implemented within one calendar year. The action to rescind a substantive change request is not an adverse action, therefore, it is not subject to appeal. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2025-2026.

    Staff acted on behalf of the Commission to waive Complex Substantive Change Procedures Section VIII.K.2.e.i-iii and to allow an extension to the one-year stipulation to implement the substantive change included in the scope of accreditation by the Commission action of January 25, 2024. To extend the due date of the implementation of the complex substantive change for up to one additional year, to January 25, 2026, to comply with the United States Department of Education (USDE) two-step change in ownership approval process. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2025-2026. To note the Commission action of Maryland University of Integrative Health on January 25, 2025.

To require notification of the date of the closing of the transaction within five calendar days of the transaction by email to [email protected] or, if there is a subsequent delay in the anticipated date of the closing of the transaction, to require immediate notification to the Commission of the revised anticipated transaction date. To note that Notre Dame of Maryland University is the surviving institution. To note that the surviving institution is responsible for ensuring the submission of all required reports and information on behalf of the integrated institution. To note the Maryland University of Integrative Health will maintain accreditation for the sole purpose of implementing the teach-out plan and agreements and effectuating the change in ownership process with the United States Department of Education per the United States Department of Education's Updated Guidance and Procedures for Changes in Ownership, dated September 15, 2022 (Electronic Announcement ID: GENERAL-22-70).
