To acknowledge receipt of the self-study report. To reaffirm accreditation. To note the on-site evaluation visit by Commission representatives to the main campus at 1133 15th Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20005 on October 26-29, 2025. To note the following additional locations were visited: (1) 1601 Cherry Street, Suite 100, Philadelphia, PA 19102; (2) 9101 Kings Parade Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28273; and (3) 2121 15th Street North, Arlington, VA 22201. To note the Commission action of August 28, 2025, to include Strayer University's acquisition of the Media Design School within the scope of the institution's accreditation and to request a complex substantive change supplemental information report due November 3, 2025. To acknowledge receipt of the complex substantive change supplemental information report and to note it remains under review by the Commission. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2032-2033. - February 26, 2026

Staff acted on behalf of the Commission to acknowledge receipt of the notification that the transaction to include the change in legal status, form of control, or ownership within the institution's scope of accreditation, occurred on September 8, 2025. To remind the institution of the Commission's action of August 28, 2025, and the complex substantive change supplemental information report due November 3, 2025. To remind the institution of its obligation to inform the Commission about any and all developments relevant to this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2025-2026. - August 28, 2025
To acknowledge receipt of the complex substantive change request. To include the change in legal status, form of control, and ownership within the institution's scope of accreditation, effective September 8, 2025. To note that the complex substantive change request includes Strayer University's acquisition, through stock transfer, of the Media Design School (MDS). To note that MDS will become an international additional location of Strayer University in New Zealand. To include the Media Design School, 10 Madden Street, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand, as an additional location within the institution's scope of accreditation. To require notification of the date of the closing of the transaction within five calendar days of the transaction, or immediate notification if there is any delay of the date of the closing of the transaction, by email to [email protected]. To require immediate notification by email to [email protected] if there are any material changes to the information provided in the substantive change request prior to the closing of the transaction. To request a complex substantive change supplemental information report, due November 3, 2025, providing (1) an updated status of the implementation of the complex substantive change (Substantive Change Policy and Complex Substantive Change Procedures); (2) written evidence of review or approval of the transaction from all required licensing, regulatory, or legal entities, including but not limited to: the United States Department of Education, any applicable state licensing or authorization bodies in the United States, and any applicable New Zealand regulatory entities overseeing private training establishments, including the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) (Standard II); (3) material updates to corporate governance or board structure, including but not limited to submission of an updated governance organizational chart and any applicable conflict-of-interest policies (Standard VII); (4) written evidence of the institution's updated Eligibility and Certification Approval Report (ECAR) reflecting the inclusion of the additional location; and (5) documentation of the design, delivery, and assessment of student learning experiences at the international additional location (Standard III and Standard V ). To direct a complex substantive change site visit to the main campus at 1133 15th Street, North West, Washington, DC, 20005, as soon as practicable but no later than six months after September 8, 2025, the anticipated date of the transaction. To further direct that the complex substantive change site visit include the international additional location at Media Design School, 10 Madden Street, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand. To remind the institution of its obligation to inform the Commission about any and all developments relevant to this action. To note that the Commission may rescind this action if any developments reveal additional information that might have affected the Commission's decision or if the complex substantive change is not implemented within one year of this action. A new comprehensive visit is not required because the institution is currently in self-study in anticipation of an evaluation visit in 2025-2026. - June 6, 2025
