This individual will work closely with the MSCHE Senior Director for Research to develop, support, and maintain simple to complex business intelligence queries and reports. He/she will work with cross-functional teams to provide analysis and models of structured data sets using advanced statistical and mathematical methods. The Senior Analytics Specialist will create databases, develop algorithms and statistical models, and perform statistical analyses appropriate to the available data and reporting requirements. He/she will develop dashboards, reports, charts, graphs, and tables displaying the outcomes of analyses for use by internal and external stakeholders.A Bachelor's degree is required, with a minimum of two years' experience in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields. Strong communication skills are essential.

This individual will manage data quality and assist in data gathering throughout the MSCHE organization. He/she will have a broad impact on MSCHE's developing data management process. The Data Management Specialist is expected to take the lead in identifying data quality issues. In addition, during the Commission's transition of some remaining paper records to digital format, the Data Management Specialist will be responsible for the integrity of both digital and paper records. This position requiires a Bachelor's degree with high academic achievement in the liberal arts with a minor area of study or successful course work in statistics, institutional research, social sciences, economics, or another applicable area of study. A minimum of two years' experience (including applicable internships) is required. A Master's degree can be considered in lieu of a portion of the experience requirement.
