About the Workshop

This workshop will focus on strategies for linking resource planning to strategic planning to achieve effective stewardship of institutional resources.  Success in meeting stewardship responsibilities is largely dependent on effective policies, operating practices, structures, relationships, and incentives that clarify proper accountability for resource management and ultimately enable the academic mission to flourish.

While sharing lessons learned through various planning efforts at Cornell University, the facilitator will lead discussion on these key success factors relative to specific topics such as financial planning, capital planning, reviewing support operations, and measuring and communicating progress on strategic priorities.

Facilitator

Mr. Paul Streeter, Vice President for Budgeting and Planning, Cornell University
