  • The following represents the MSCHE accreditation actions taken in the last ten (10) years.
  • June 24, 2021
    To acknowledge receipt of the Accreditation Readiness Report. To note that the institution hosted a virtual site visit in lieu of an on-site visit in accordance with the United States Department of Education (USDE) guidelines published March 17, 2020. To grant Candidate for Accreditation status. To invite the institution to initiate self-study in preparation for an evaluation visit in 2023-2024. To include the Associate’s degree or its equivalent credential level within the institution’s baseline scope of accreditation. To note that it is the institution’s responsibility to ascertain any requirements related to its eligibility for Title IV funding (student financial aid programs) and to complete any required activities related to that process if it so desires. To note that Candidate for Accreditation status is an indication that an institution is progressing toward, but is not assured of, accreditation. To note that the institution may not be in Candidacy for more than five years before the grant of accreditation in accordance with federal regulation 34 CFR § 602.16(a)(2). To note that the Commission reserves the right to rescind this action if any developments reveal additional information that might have affected the Commission’s decision.
