To acknowledge receipt of the monitoring report. To note the follow-up visit by the Commission's representatives to the main campus at Ave. Ponce de Leon 951, San Juan on April 13-14, 2023. To note further that the verification visit required by USDE guidelines as noted in the action of June 23, 2022, has been completed. To reaffirm accreditation because the institution is now in compliance with Standard V (Educational Effectiveness Assessment). To request a monitoring report, due August 1, 2024, demonstrating sustainability of implemented corrective measures and further evidence (1) that the institution assesses student learning and achievement and demonstrates that students have accomplished educational goals consistent with their programs of study (Standard V) and (2) of student learning programs that are characterized by coherence and appropriate assessment of student achievement throughout its educational offerings, at both institutional and program levels, with evidence that faculty and appropriate institutional stakeholders have considered and used assessment results to improve teaching and learning (Standard V). A follow-up team visit may follow submission of the monitoring report. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2027-2028. - May 12, 2023

To note that the institution hosted a virtual site visit in lieu of an on-site visit in accordance with United States Department of Education (USDE) guidelines published March 17, 2020. To warn the institution that its accreditation may be in jeopardy because of insufficient evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with Standard V (Educational Effectiveness Assessment). To note that the institution remains accredited while on warning. To note further that federal regulations limit the period during which an institution may be in non-compliance. To request a monitoring report due March 1, 2023, demonstrating evidence that the institution has achieved and can sustain ongoing compliance with Standard V including but not limited to evidence that (1) the institution assesses student learning and achievement and demonstrates that students have accomplished educational goals consistent with their programs of study (Standard V) and (2) its student learning programs are characterized by coherence and appropriate assessment of student achievement throughout its educational offerings, at both institutional and program levels, with evidence that faculty and appropriate institutional stakeholders have considered and used assessment results to improve teaching and learning (Standard V). To direct a follow-up team visit following submission of the monitoring report. To note the visit may also fulfill the verification requirements of the USDE guidelines. To direct a prompt Commission liaison guidance visit to discuss the Commission's expectations. Upon reaffirmation of accreditation, the next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2027-2028. - June 24, 2021
To acknowledge receipt of the self-study report. To note that the institution hosted a virtual site visit in lieu of an on-site visit in accordance with United States Department of Education (USDE) guidelines published March 17, 2020. To postpone a decision and request a supplemental information report, due December 1, 2021, documenting evidence of (1) the institution offers an undergraduate general education program, free standing or integrated into academic disciplines, that is consistent with higher education expectations (Standard III); (2) clearly stated educational goals at the institutional and degree/program levels, which are interrelated with one another, with relevant educational experiences, and with the institution's mission (Standard V); and (3) student learning programs that are characterized by coherence and appropriate assessment of student achievement throughout its educational offerings, at both institutional and program levels, with evidence that faculty and appropriate institutional stakeholders have considered and used assessment results to improve teaching and learning (Standard V). To direct a follow-up team visit following submission of the supplemental information report. To note the visit will also fulfill the verification requirements of the USDE guidelines. Upon reaffirmation of accreditation, the next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2027-2028. - January 4, 2021
To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To include alternative delivery method-distance education within the institution's scope of accreditation. To require written evidence of approvals from all necessary licensing, regulatory, or other legal entities as necessary, including the Puerto Rico Board of Post-Secondary Institutions. To note that the Commission may rescind this action if the requested substantive change is not implemented within one calendar year from the date of this action. To note the Commission delayed the On-Site Evaluation visit scheduled for Spring 2020 due to extraordinary circumstances related to coronavirus (COVID-19) interruptions.
