To note that the institution hosted a virtual site visit in lieu of an on-site visit in accordance with the United States Department of Education (USDE) guidelines published March 17, 2020. To reaffirm accreditation. To note that a verification visit is required by USDE guidelines and will be conducted within a reasonable period of time following the virtual site visit. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2028-2029. - January 3, 2020
To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To note the institution's decision to close the additional location at the Kulpmont Nursing Center, 1100 Spruce Street, Kulpmont, PA 17834. To require immediate notification when instruction ceases at the additional location. To note that the Commission may rescind this action if the requested substantive change is not implemented within one calendar year from the date of this action. - January 3, 2020

To include the reclassification of the Wayne Memorial Hospital additional location at 600 Maple Avenue, Honesdale, PA 18431-1436 to an other instructional site within the institution's scope of accreditation. To require immediate notification when the change is implemented. To note that the Commission may rescind this action if the requested substantive change is not implemented within one calendar year from the date of this action. To include the additional location at The Mall at Steamtown, 300 Lackawanna Avenue, Scranton, PA 18501 within the scope of the institution's accreditation. The Commission requires written notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations at this additional location. Operations at the additional location must commence within one calendar year from the date of this action. To note that the Periodic Review Report has been received and will be acted upon by the Commission at the November meeting. - March 6, 2014

To request a progress report, due December 1, 2013, documenting evidence of (1) further development and implementation of a comprehensive, organized and sustained process for the assessment of institutional effectiveness (Standard 7) and (2) further development and implementation of an organized and sustained process to evaluate and improve student learning (Standards 12 and 14). To remind the institution that it has been placed on probation because of insufficient evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with Standard 5 (Administration), Standard 7 (Institutional Assessment), Standard 12 (General Education), and Standard 14 (Assessment of Student Learning). To note that the institution remains accredited while on probation. To remind the institution of the request for a monitoring report due March 1, 2012 documenting that the institution has achieved and can sustain ongoing compliance with Standards 5, 7, 12, and 14, including but not limited to documented evidence of: (1) a chief executive and administrative leadership with appropriate skills, degrees, training and assignment of responsibilities and functions to ensure that the institution is led toward the achievement of its goals; (2) periodic assessment of the effectiveness of administrative structures and services (Standard 5); (3) the development and implementation of a comprehensive, organized, and sustained process for the assessment of institutional effectiveness, including student learning assessment, that is linked to the institution's mission and goals; (4) the use of assessment information in budgeting, planning, and resource allocation (Standard 7); (5) steps taken to strengthen the rigor and coherence of general education related to the college's mission; (6) implementation of a documented assessment process for general education (Standard 12); (7) the establishment and attainment of measurable learning goals at the institutional, program and course levels; (8) the development and implementation of an organized and sustained assessment process to evaluate and improve student learning; and (9) the use of student learning assessment information to improve teaching and learning (Standard 14). A small team visit will follow the submission of the report. The date of the Periodic Review Report will be established when accreditation is reaffirmed. - June 23, 2011
