On June 24, 2020, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education approved the teach-out plan developed by Christ the King Seminary because the institution has voluntarily surrendered its accreditation and terminated its membership. The purpose of the teach-out plan is to assist students who are near completion of a credential finalize and complete academic requirements. To assist with the implementation of the teach-out plan, Christ the King Seminary entered into a teach-out agreement with St. Bernard's School of Theology and Ministry, 120 French Rd, Rochester, NY 14618, (585) 271-3657. Christ the King Seminary will retain student records. After May 2021, all student records will be transferred to the Diocese of Buffalo Department of Education. To note that accreditation will cease on June 30, 2020.
