To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To note the institution's decision to close as of August 31, 2013, and to indicate that the progress report due by April 1, 2015, on the further implementation of plans for orderly closure including the disposition of student records, will no longer be necessary. To also note that the institution has made arrangements for current students who have completed more than 50 percent of their degree requirements as of August 31, 2013, to complete their degree requirements and receive a degree from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception within 18 months of closure. To further note that the Commission will grant a continuation of accreditation during the 18-month period only for the purposes of awarding those degrees. Accreditation will cease on March 1, 2015. Students who have not completed their degrees by March 1, 2015 will be accepted in transfer by Saint Joseph's Seminary and student records will be held by Saint Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie, 201 Seminary Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704. - July 1, 2013

To also approve the teach-out agreement with St. Joseph's Seminary, which will meet the educational needs of currently enrolled students who have completed less than 50 percent of their degree requirements as of August 31, 2013 in the following programs: MA Theol, MAPS, MA Cath Phil, MDiv. To request a progress report by April 1, 2015, on the further implementation of plans for orderly closure including the disposition of student records. To request submission of a substantive change proposal no later than 6 months prior to the official date of institutional closure. - September 28, 2012

To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To provisionally include the additional location at St. Joseph Seminary, 201 Seminary Avenue, Yonkers NY 10704 within the scope of the institution's accreditation, pending a site visit within six months of the commencement of operations at the site. The Commission requires written notification within 30 days of the commencement of operations at the additional location. The Commission notes that approval extends for one calendar year from the date of this action. In the event that operations at the additional location do not commence within this time frame, approval will lapse. To remind the institution that the monitoring report, due October 1, 2012, should provide evidence of the further development and implementation of (1) a comprehensive institutional strategic plan that links long-range planning to decision-making and budgeting processes (Standard 2); (2) multi-year budget projections aligned with the institution's mission, goals, and strategic plan (Standard 3); (3) the periodic objective assessment of the Board and the Rector in meeting their stated goals and objectives (Standard 4); (4) a systematic procedure for the periodic evaluation and professional renewal of all personnel (Standard 6); (5) an organized and sustainable assessment process, including direct measures, to improve institutional effectiveness, with evidence that assessment information is used in budgeting, planning, and the allocation of resources (Standard 7); and (6) an organized and sustainable process to assess the achievement of student learning goals at the course and program levels, with evidence that assessment information is used to improve teaching and learning (Standard 14). A small team visit may follow submission of the monitoring report. The Periodic Review Report is due June 1, 2016. - June 23, 2011
