  • March 4, 2021
    To note that the Mid-Point Peer Review has been conducted. To request that the next self-study, in preparation for a visit in 2023-2024, provide further evidence of improved financial viability and sustainability (Standard VI).
  • November 17, 2016
    To accept the progress report. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2023-2024.
  • November 10, 2016
    To acknowledge receipt of documentation of approval from New York State Education Department and to include the Associate of Science in Management within the scope of the institution's accreditation.
  • October 31, 2016
    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To include the second Associate degree program (Associate of Science in Management) within the scope of the institution's accreditation, effective upon receipt of state approval. To remind the institution of the Commission's request of November 19, 2015 for a progress report due October 1, 2016. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2023-2024.

    To note the recent visit by the Commission's representative, and to remind the institution that its warning continues because of a lack of evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with Standard 14 (Assessment of Student Learning). To note that the institution remains accredited while on warning. To also note that the monitoring report due March 1, 2014 has been received and will be acted on by the Commission at its June meeting. The due date for the next Periodic Review Report will be established when accreditation is reaffirmed.

    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request and to include the online Master of Science Degree in Jewish Education within the scope of the institution's accreditation. To remind the institution that the Commission continued to warn the institution that its accreditation may be in jeopardy because of insufficient evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with Standard 14 (Assessment of Student Learning). To note that the institution remains accredited while on warning. To also note that the monitoring report due March 1, 2014 has been received and will be acted on by the Commission at its June meeting. The due date for the next Periodic Review Report will be established when accreditation is reaffirmed.

To note that the institution remains accredited while on warning. To request a monitoring report due March 1, 2014 documenting the implementation of an organized, systematic, and sustainable process to assess the achievement of expected student learning outcomes in all programs, with evidence that assessment information is being used to improve teaching and learning. A small team visit will follow submission of the report. To direct a prompt Commission liaison guidance visit. The due date for the next Periodic Review Report will be established when accreditation is reaffirmed.

    To warn the institution that its accreditation may be in jeopardy because of insufficient evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with Standard 10 (Faculty) and Standard 14 (Assessment of Student Learning). To note that the institution remains accredited while on warning. To request a monitoring report, due September 1, 2013, documenting evidence that the institution has achieved and can sustain compliance with Standards 10 and 14, including but not limited to (1) the development, approval, and dissemination of clear procedures and policies governing faculty appointment, promotion, tenure, and grievance processes; 2) evidence that faculty have appropriate input into the design, maintenance, and updating of curricula (Standard 10); (3) the development and implementation and documentation of an organized and sustained assessment process to evaluate and improve student learning; (4) evidence of direct methods of assessment of student learning at the institutional and program levels; (5) evidence that student learning assessment information is used to improve teaching and learning (Standard 14). To further request that the monitoring report document evidence of (6) the development of a comprehensive, integrated, collaboratively developed strategic plan (Standard 2) and (7) steps taken to strengthen collegial governance (Standard 4). A small team visit will follow submission of the report. To direct a prompt Commission liaison guidance visit. The PRR report due date will be set when accreditation is reaffirmed.
