  • April 30, 2020
    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To note the institution’s decision to close the additional location at Hudson Valley Community College, 80 Vandenburgh Avenue, Troy, NY 12180. To require immediate notification when instruction ceases at the additional location. To note that the Commission may rescind this action if the requested substantive change is not implemented within one calendar year from the date of this action.

To include the additional location at Mid-Hudson Valley at Ulster BOCES, 175 Route 32 North, New Paltz, NY 12561 within the institution’s scope of accreditation. To require immediate notification when instruction commences at the additional location. To note that the Commission may rescind this action if instruction does not commence within one calendar year from the date of this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2020-2021.

The Commission requires written notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations at this additional location. Operations at the additional location must commence within one calendar year from the date of this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2020-2021.

To include the additional location at Hudson Valley Community, Tech Smart Campus, 345 Hermes Road, Malta, NY 12020 within the scope of the institution’s accreditation. The Commission requires written notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations at this additional location. In the event that operations at the additional location do not commence within one calendar year from the approval of this action, approval will lapse. To remind the institution that the Periodic Review Report, due June 1, 2016, should document (1) further development of the campus master plan at both the Albany and Troy campuses (Standard 3), and (2) further evidence that student learning assessment results are used in all programs to improve teaching and learning (Standard 14).

    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request and to provisionally include the additional location at 40 Rector Street, New York, NY 10006, within the scope of the institution's accreditation pending a site visit within six months of commencing operations at the site. The Commission requires written notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations at this site. In the event that operations at this site do not commence within one calendar year from the approval of this action, approval will lapse. To remind the institution that the progress report, due November 1, 2014, should document (1) further development of a comprehensive campus master plan and efforts to address issues of deferred maintenance (Standard 3); (2) further implementation of a plan to support the advancement and development of faculty (Standard 10); and (3) evidence that student learning assessment results are shared and discussed with appropriate constituents and are being used to improve pedagogies, curricula and instructional activities. (Standard 14). The Periodic Review Report is due June 1, 2016.

To request a monitoring report, due October 1, 2012, documenting evidence that (1) institutional planning objectives are linked to multi-year financial planning and budgeting processes, including the assumptions underlying financial projections (Standards 2 & 3); (2) development and implementation of a comprehensive campus master plan (Standard 2); (3) results of efforts to improve the institution’s finances (Standard 3); (4) development and implementation of a plan to provide appropriate institutional support for the advancement and development of faculty (Standard 10); and (5) further implementation of an organized and sustained process for the assessment of the achievement of student learning outcomes that uses multiple measures to produce direct evidence of student learning, including evidence that assessment results are used to improve teaching and learning (Standard 14). The Periodic Review Report is due June 1, 2016.
