On June 24, 2021, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education approved the teach-out plan submitted by Concordia University because the institution planned to cease operations entirely and conduct an orderly institutional closure. The purpose of a teach-out plan is to assist students who are near completion of a credential finalize and complete academic requirements before the institution closes. The Commission also approved signed teach-out agreements with Iona College, New Rochelle, NY; Manhattanville College, Purchase, NY; College of Mount St. Vincent, Riverdale, NY; and College of Westchester, White Plains, NY.
