On July 18, 2019, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education approved the teach-out plan developed by The College of New Rochelle because the institution is closing while on warning. The purpose of the teach-out plan is to assist students who are near completion of a credential finalize and complete academic requirements. To assist with the implementation of the teach-out plan, The College of New Rochelle entered into teach-out agreements with (1) Adelphi University, Garden City, NY; (2) Caldwell University, Caldwell, NY; (3) Baruch College of the City University of New York, New York, NY; (4) Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, Brooklyn, NY; (5) College of Staten Island of the City University of New York, Staten Island, NY; (6) Hunter College of the City University of New York, New York, NY; (7) John Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York, New York, NY; (8) Lehman College of the City University of New York, Bronx, NY; (9) Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York, Brooklyn, NY; (10) Queens College of the City University of New York, Queens, NY; (11) York College of the City University of New York, Jamaica, NY; (12) College of Mount Saint Vincent, Riverdale, NY; (13) D’Youville College, Buffalo, NY; (14) Long Island University, Brookville, NY; (15) Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY; (16) School of Visual Arts, New York, NY; and (17) SUNY Empire State College, Saratoga Springs, NY. Students may obtain records at Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY. To note that accreditation will cease on December 31, 2019.
