  • June 17, 2020
    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To include the first alternative delivery method-distance education program (Master of Science of Childhood Education) within the institution’s scope of accreditation. To require written evidence of approvals from all necessary licensing, regulatory, or other legal entities as necessary, including the New York State Education Department (NYSED). To note that the Commission may rescind this action if the requested substantive change is not implemented within one calendar year from the date of this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2022-2023.

    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To include the second alternative delivery method-distance education program (Master of Special Education) within the institution’s scope of accreditation. To require written evidence of approvals from all necessary licensing, regulatory, or other legal entities as necessary, including the New York State Education Department (NYSED). To note that the Commission may rescind this action if the requested substantive change is not implemented within one calendar year from the date of this action.

    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To include the relocation of the CMSV Division of Nursing/Midtown additional location at 4 West 43rd Street, New York, NY 10036 to Queens Extension Center, 37-02 Queens Boulevard, Long Island City, Queens, NY 11101 within the institution’s scope of accreditation. To require immediate notification when instruction commences at the new location and of the date that instruction ceases at the former location. To note the Commission may rescind this action if instruction at this location does not commence within one calendar year from the date of this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2022-2023.

To include the additional location at Global Academic Foundation, New Administrative Capital of Cairo, Cairo, Egypt, within the institution’s scope of accreditation. To direct a substantive change site visit as soon as practicable but no later than six months after the commencement of instruction at the additional location. To require written evidence of approvals from all necessary licensing, regulatory, or other legal entities as necessary, including Education Ministry of Egypt. To require immediate notification when instruction commences at the additional location. To note that the Commission may rescind this action if instruction does not commence within one calendar year from the date of this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2022-2023.

    To note the visit by the Commission’s representative and to affirm inclusion of the additional location at CMSV Division of Nursing/Midtown, 4 West 43rd Street, New York, NY 10036 within the scope of the institution’s accreditation. To remind the institution of the progress report, due December 1, 2014, documenting (1) a clear timetable for the integration of planning, budgeting and assessment cycles; and (2) evidence of a sustainable institutional assessment process (Standard 7). The Periodic Review Report is now due June 1, 2018.

    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To approve the relocation of the CMSV Div of Nursing/Midtown additional location from 1233 Second Avenue, New York, NY 10021 to 4 West 43rd Street, New York, NY 10036 provisionally and to include the new location within the scope of the institution's accreditation pending a site visit within six months of commencement of operations. The Commission requires written notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations. In the event that operations at the additional location do not commence within one calendar year from the approval of this action, approval will lapse. To remind the institution of the progress report, due December 1, 2014, documenting (1) a clear timetable for the integration of planning, budgeting and assessment cycles; and (2) evidence of a sustainable institutional assessment process (Standard 7). The Periodic Review Report is now due June 1, 2018.

    To accept the monitoring report and to note the visit by the Commission's representatives. To remove the warning and reaffirm accreditation because the institution is now in compliance with Standard 7 (Institutional Assessment) and Standard 14 (Assessment of Student Learning). To request a progress report, due December 1, 2014, documenting (1) a clear timetable for the integration of planning, budgeting and assessment cycles; and (2) evidence of a sustainable institutional assessment process (Standard 7). The Periodic Review Report is now due June 1, 2018.

    To note the visit by the Commission’s representative. To remind the institution that it has been warned that its accreditation may be in jeopardy because of insufficient evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with Standard 7 (Institutional Assessment) and Standard 14 (Assessment of Student Learning). To note that the institution remains accredited while on warning. To remind the institution of the monitoring report, due March 1, 2013, documenting that the institution has achieved and can sustain compliance with Standards 7 and 14, including but not limited to the development and implementation of a comprehensive, organized and sustained institutional assessment process that includes (a) clear, realistic timelines and guidelines; (b) clearly articulated institutional, unit-level and program level goals that are appropriately integrated with one another; (c) evidence that assessment results are shared and discussed with appropriate constituents and used for institutional renewal; (d) periodic evaluation of the effectiveness and comprehensiveness of the assessment process (Standard 7); and an organized and sustained assessment process to evaluate and improve student learning in all programs, including general education, with clearly articulated, measurable student learning goals at the institutional and program levels (Standard 14). A small team visit will follow submission of the monitoring report. The due date for the next Periodic Review Report will be established when accreditation is reaffirmed.

The due date for the next Periodic Review Report will be established when accreditation is reaffirmed.
