On June 27, 2019, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education included a merger of Cumberland County College with Rowan College of Gloucester County within the scope of accreditation effective July 1, 2019. As part of that request, the Commission approved the teach-out plan and signed teach-out agreements with Rowan College at Gloucester County. Students may obtain records and transcripts at Rowan College of Gloucester County, which as of July 1, 2019, is known as Rowan College of South Jersey, 1400 Tanyard Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. To note that accreditation ceased for Cumberland County College on June 30, 2019, as a result of the merger.     To acknowledge receipt of the complex substantive change request. To include the merger with Rowan College at Gloucester County, 1400 Tanyard Road, Sewell, NJ 08080, within the scope of accreditation. To require notification of the date of the closing of the transaction, anticipated July 1, 2019. To require written evidence of approvals from all licensing, regulatory, and other legal entities as necessary, including the United States Department of Education. To approve the teach-out plan and signed teach-out agreement with Rowan College at Gloucester County. To note the transfer of Cumberland County College student records, programs, and services to Rowan College at Gloucester County. To remind the institution of its obligation to inform the Commission about any and all developments relevant to this action. The Commission reserves the right to rescind approval of this substantive change if any developments reveal additional information that might have affected the Commission's decision. To note that the accreditation of Cumberland County College will cease effective July 1, 2019.

To include provisionally the additional location at Arts and Innovation Center, 321 North High Street, Millville, NJ 08332 within the scope of the institution's accreditation pending a site visit within six months of the commencement of operations at this location. The Commission requires written notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations at this location. Operations at this location must commence within one calendar year from the date of this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2020-2021.
