  • May 14, 2020
    Staff acted on behalf of the Commission to request a supplemental information report, due October 1, 2020 addressing the recent action by the Federal Student Aid Office of the U.S. Department of Education which may have implications for current and future compliance with Standard IV: Support of the Student Experience. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2025-2026.

    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To include the first Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Special Education within the institution’s scope of accreditation. To note the Commission may rescind this action if the requested substantive change is not implemented within one calendar year from the date of this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2025-2026.

    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To include the first Postsecondary Certificate (<1 year) in Child Development within the institution’s scope of accreditation. To note the Commission may rescind this action if the requested substantive change is not implemented within one calendar year from the date of this action.

    Staff acted on behalf of the Commission to request a supplemental information report, due May 1, 2019, addressing the actions of the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy (ACOTE) which may have implications for current and future compliance with Standard III: Design and Delivery of the Student Learning Experience, Standard IV: Support of the Student Experience, and Standard V: Educational Effectiveness Assessment.

    To reaffirm accreditation. To commend the institution for the quality of the self-study process and the quality of the self-study report. The date for the next accreditation review will be determined by the Commission when it revises the accreditation cycle.

    To note the institution's decision not to open the additional location at District Medical Veterans Center, 50 Irving Street NW, Washington DC 20422 and to remove the location from the institution's accreditation.

    To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request and to include provisionally the additional location at District Medical Veterans Center, 50 Irving Street NW, Washington DC 20422 within the scope of the institution's accreditation, pending a site visit within six months of commencing operations. The Commission requires written notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations at this site. In the event that operations at this site do not commence within one calendar year from the approval of this action, approval will lapse. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2015-2016.
