On November 20, 2014, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education approved the teach-out plan developed by Sojourner-Douglass College because the institution's accreditation was withdrawn by the Commission (final action). The purpose of the teach-out plan is to assist students who are near completion of a credential finalize and complete academic requirements. To assist with the implementation of the teach-out plan, Sojourner-Douglass College entered into teach-out agreements with (1) Coppin State University, Baltimore, MD and (2) Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD. To note that accreditation ceased on June 30, 2015.
