Accreditation Actions

The following represents the MSCHE accreditation actions taken in the last ten (10) years. For more information, see the Commission’s Accreditation Actions Policy and Procedures and the Substantive Change Policy and Procedures.

• March 4, 2021
  To note that the Mid-Point Peer Review has been conducted and no further evidence is required at this time. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2023-2024.
• June 17, 2020
  To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To note the institution's decision to close the additional location at 1 School House Road, McGuire AFB, NJ 08641. To require immediate notification when instruction ceases at the additional location. To note that the Commission reserves the right to rescind approval of this substantive change if any developments reveal additional information that might have affected the Commission's decision and/or the requested substantive change is not implemented within one calendar year from the date of this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2023-2024.
• January 4, 2019
  To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To include the additional location at Brandywine, 10 Beaver Valley Road, Wilmington, DE 19810 within the scope of the institution's accreditation. The Commission requires notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations at this additional location. Operations at the additional location must commence within one calendar year from the date of this action.
• January 4, 2019
  To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To note the institution's decision to close its additional location at North Wilmington, 3411 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE 19810. The Commission requires notification within thirty days of the closure of this additional location. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2023-2024.
• June 21, 2018
  To accept the progress report. To rescind the substantive change action of March 2, 2017. To note the institution's decision not to enter into the contractual arrangement with Zip Code Wilmington and to withdraw from the USDE EQUIP initiative. The next evaluation is scheduled for 2023-2024.
• June 18, 2018
  Revised action of April 30, 2018: To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To include the additional locations at (1) Mercer County Community College – West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor, NJ 08550; (2) Mercer County Community College - James Kerney Campus, 102 N. Broad Street, Trenton, NJ 08608; (3) Camden County College (Camden City Campus), 200 North Broadway #1, Camden, NJ 08102; and (4) Camden County College (Blackwood Campus), 200 College Drive, Blackwood, NJ 08012 within the scope of the institution's accreditation. The Commission requires written notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations at these additional locations. Operations at the additional locations must commence within one calendar year from the date of this action. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2023-2024.

  To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request.   To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To include the contractual agreement with Shenzhen University, China, within the scope of the institution's accreditation. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2023 - 2024.
• March 2, 2017
  To acknowledge receipt of the complex substantive change request. To include within the scope of the institution's accreditation the contractual arrangement with Zip Code Wilmington as part of the institution's participation in the USDE EQUIP initiative. To request a progress report, due April 1, 2018, documenting steps taken to implement the contractual arrangement (Standard 13). The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2023 - 2024.
• August 29, 2016
  To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To note the institution's decision to close its Middletown Site additional location at 651 North Broad Street, Middletown, DE 19709. The Commission requires notification within thirty days of the closure of this additional location. The date for the next accreditation review will be determined by the Commission when it revises the accreditation cycle.
• February 29, 2016
  To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To approve the reclassification of the instructional site at Rowan College at Gloucester County, 1400 Tanyard Road, Sewell, NJ 08080 as an additional location and to include the location within the scope of the institution's accreditation. The Periodic Review Report is due June 1, 2020.
• June 29, 2015
  To acknowledge receipt of substantive change request. To approve the reclassification of the additional location at Salem Community College, 460 Hollywood Avenue, Penns Grove, NJ 08069 as an instructional site. The Periodic Review Report is due June 1, 2020.
• June 25, 2015
  To reaffirm accreditation and to commend the institution for the quality of the self-study process. The Periodic Review Report is due June 1, 2020.
• April 28, 2014
  To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To approve the reclassification of the instructional site at John H. Ammon Education Center, Christiana Care Health System, 4755 Ogletown-Stanton Road, Newark, DE 19718 as an additional location and to include the location within the scope of the institution's accreditation. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2014-2015.

• August 30, 2011
  To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request. To reclassify the North Wilmington instructional site at 3411 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE 19810 as an additional location and to include it within the scope of the institution's accreditation. To remind the institution of the progress report, due October 1, 2011, documenting steps taken to strengthen comprehensive enrollment planning and assessment (Standard 8). The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2014-2015.

  To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request and to include within the scope of the institution's accreditation the relocation of the Dover Air Force Base location from 436 MSS/DPE, 639 Evreux Street, Room 215, Dover AFB, DE. 19902, to 436 FSS/FSDE, 261 Chad Street, Room 301, Dover AFB, DE. 19902. The Commission requires written notification within thirty days of the commencement of operations at the additional location. In the event that operations at this additional location do not commence within one calendar year from the approval of this action, approval will lapse. To remind the institution of the progress report, due October 1, 2011, documenting steps taken to strengthen comprehensive enrollment planning and assessment (Standard 8). The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2014-2015.
