On June 24, 2021, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education included the sale of the assets of Wesley College by Delaware State University into the scope of accreditation, effective July 1, 2021. As part of that request, the Commission approved the teach-out plan and signed teach-out agreements with Delaware State University. The purpose of a teach-out plan is to assist students who are near completion of a credential finalize and complete academic requirements. Students may obtain records and transcripts at Delaware State University, Dover, DE which has been designated as the repository of all Wesley College student records. To note that accreditation ceased for Wesley College on August 31, 2021, as a result of the sale. As of September 1, 2021, Wesley College is longer accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education www.msche.org.
