In accordance with federal regulations and the Commission’s Substantive Change Policy and Substantive Change Procedures, member institutions must submit a substantive change request to the Commission for approval prior to implementation for certain types of changes. The Commission, through a multi-level accreditation decision-making process, reviews the substantive change request prior to implementation in accordance with federal regulation 34 CFR § 602.22(a)(1)(i).

During this webinar, institutional representatives will learn about recent changes to substantive change policy, procedures, and guidelines resulting from changes in federal regulation. During this training, session participants will become familiar with substantive change request forms required for the process and receive answers from MSCHE staff on reviewing substantive change requests and other questions.
