How to Complete a Substantive Change Request (no fee)

This event will be recorded and distributed to Accreditation Liaison Officers (ALOs) at each institution. The live event is intended for those who are available to attend on the date and time indicated. The opportunity to submit questions will be provided to those participating in the live event. Accreditation Liaison Officers unable to attend the event can present questions specific to their institution through their assigned MSCHE Vice President staff liaison or firstname.lastname@example.org.
This webinar is for institutions who anticipate changes at their institution that could potentially be a substantive change under Commission policy. Commission staff will provide a brief overview of the modifications and new requirements to substantive change as a result of federal regulatory changes. Staff will also provide information on the process for submitting substantive change requests, notifications, and prior approval forms.
This includes completing the substantive change screening form, uploading the request form, to confirming the form was submitted successfully.
