The Accreditation Readiness Report is the foundational document in which an institution applying for Candidate for Accreditation status describes its ability to demonstrate compliance with the MSCHE standards for Accreditation, Requirements of Affiliation, policies and procedures, and federal regulatory requirements.
This webinar is intended to assist institutions in understanding how to provide clear and concise information, documentation, and evidence which will support the institution’s application and how peer evaluators will use this document to provide analysis, collegial advice for institutional improvement, and feedback on preparedness for the Applicant Assessment Team visit.

- Understand the various steps of the Application and Candidacy Review Cycle and Monitoring procedures, with emphasis on preparing the institution for the Assessment Team visit.
- Understand the value of mission-centered, peer review for institutional preparedness and improvement in the Application process.
- Define the purpose and role of the Accreditation Readiness Report in the context of applying for Candidate for Accreditation Status.
- Identify the expectations for compliance with the MSCHE Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation, policies and procedures, and applicable federal regulatory requirements via the Accreditation Readiness Report.
- Understand the role of evidence and documentation in preparing a complete Accreditation Readiness Report.
