Lessons Learned Webinar Series: Presentations by MSCHE Member Institutions
Change at times is forced upon institutions for any number of reasons including challenging demographics, increased competition, financial pressures, societal changes, and even global pandemics. Change and institutional improvement should be continually driven by regular assessment, planning, and resource allocation. When crises arise, strategic leadership provides the opportunity to not only navigate through the crisis, but also to advance and improve the operation and performance of the University. In this panel presentation, three institutions from three different sectors will share their case studies of challenges, corresponding opportunities, and institutional improvement. Change management leadership strategies like focusing on institutional mission; clear, continual, and transparent communication; shared and data-informed decision making; identifying and developing new organizational leaders; supporting individuals through changes; assessing the effects of changes; and recognizing and celebrating successes can lead to a better institution after the crisis.
Cost: This presentation is part of an on-going series where you get access to eight events for one price: $225 Institutional Member/ $325 Non-Member*
