Kickstart Your Self-Study: Incorporating Institutional Priorities and Opening the Conversation about Self-Study
May 4 at 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Considering the dynamic changes in accreditation and higher education, you may be curious about the Commission’s expectations for self-study and how best to prepare in the context of other planning and assessment activities already underway at your institution. This workshop will provide an opportunity for reflection, practical exercises, and peer perspectives to help frame your self-study process for maximum benefit. Topics to be discussed include understanding the self-study process, identifying institutional priorities, taking the temperature for focused preparation on campus, and engaging stakeholders in creating value for the institution from the self-study process. This workshop does not replace the Self-Study Institute which is a required workshop for institutions to attend 2- to 2.5-years prior to a Self-Study Evaluation and On-Site Evaluation Visit.
