ALO 2.0 – Nexus of Communication Live Q&A
May 3 at 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Event Navigation
The Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) plays a key role for institutions accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The ALO serves as not only as the primary point of contact between MSCHE staff and the institution but should also be a resource for the institution on accreditation processes and related matters. This live Q&A session is designed for experienced ALOs who are interested in discussing more in depth the role of the ALO within the institution, particularly strategies for building a community of accountability.
Participants are encouraged to view the recorded webinar, which includes information about the role of the ALO as the nexus of communication regarding MSCHE requirements; processes, procedures, and reporting responsibilities; MSCHE expectations within the context of their own institution; and available resources to support the work of ALOs, prior to the Live Q&A session.
Learning Outcomes
- Identify the responsibilities of the ALO within the institution.
- Develop strategies to provide support and empower the campus community to engage in maintaining compliance with the MSCHE Standards.
- Review the Commission’s resources for ALOs.
