Visit the Exhibit Hall frequently throughout the conference and take advantage of the many opportunities to explore new products, services, and technologies offered by participating companies. In addition to the exhibits, the Exhibit Hall will include continental breakfasts both mornings and a boxed lunch on Thursday for conference attendees. Stop by the MSCHE Booth to pick up a complimentary copy of the Official Washington DC Visitor’s Guide, visit with MSCHE staff, or ask about becoming a peer evaluator. Coat Check
Lobby Level Opposite Convention Registration
Complimentary coat check is available during registration hours. Coats remaining after registration hours will be turned over to the hotel’s lost and found office. Please note that MSCHE is not able to hold attendees’ personal items beyond the attendee’s coat. This includes laptop computers, tablets, luggage, handbags, and any other items. The Commission assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged coats or other items left in the coat check room.
Wi-Fi
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education provides complimentary Wi-Fi for conference attendees under the following conditions: Attendees agree to abide by the acceptable use policy of the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel and the Wi-Fi provider. Attendees further agree that MSCHE cannot guarantee the security of this network and assumes no responsibility whatsoever for its use. While accessing the Wi-Fi service, please show courtesy to those around you and avoid use during conference sessions.
Conference-provided Wi-Fi will be available on all meeting floors and Exhibit Hall facilities only; fees may apply if you connect to the Internet in your hotel room. To connect, follow these steps:
Connect to SSID: MARRIOTT CONFERENCE.
Launch a web browser.
When prompted, enter the conference access code provided in the printed conference program and click on “submit.”
The conference welcome page will display, and you will now be able to browse the Internet.
Please note: If you are roaming throughout the hotel, your device will sometimes disconnect, and you will need to re-associate with another wireless access point. Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) are not meant to stay connected all the time for security reasons, and you may be required to reestablish your VPN connectivity when your current session expires.
Program Note
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education encourages meaningful and constructive dialogue as well as respectful conduct among attendees at the MSCHE Annual Conference. The contents of all presentations were developed by the individual speakers. With the exception of MSCHE staff presenters, MSCHE neither implies its endorsement nor support of the comments of individual speakers.
All conference functions are subject to change and/or cancellation due to circumstances beyond the control of MSCHE. Individual recording (audio or visual) of conference presentations is strictly prohibited. As a courtesy to speakers and other attendees, please switch all portable electronic devices to silent mode, and refrain from texting, e-mailing, or surfing the web as it is distracting to speakers and other attendees.

Attendees must display their name badge during all conference sessions and events, and for admission to the Exhibit Hall. Attendees should remember to bring their Pre-Conference Workshop tickets with them, as admission to Pre-Conference Workshops will not be allowed without a ticket.
Conference Newsletter
Each morning of the conference, MSCHE will email a conference-oriented newsletter. Watch for this important information on your laptop, tablet, or smart phone.
Annual Conference Evaluations
Following this year’s conference, all attendees will receive an electronic evaluation form. Please take a few minutes to complete this form and return it with your comments. Your feedback is important as we plan future conferences and workshops.
Consent to Use Photographic Images
Throughout the conference, MSCHE will be photographing plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, other events, and Exhibit Hall activities. These photos will be used in future Commission newsletters, promotional materials for other MSCHE-sponsored conferences and workshops, or other MSCHE communications, both print and electronic. By participating in the conference, all attendees agree to be photographed (includes video recording) and to allow the Commission to use such photographs or video images without remuneration, for promotional and/or informational purposes.
Safety Precautions
It is recommended that all attendees review the safety information provided by the hotel. As with all cities, it is recommended that you be alert and stay aware of your surroundings. MSCHE expects all attendees to act responsibly when consuming alcoholic beverages.
