Asha Hertler Joins MSCHE as Director for Events

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) was pleased to welcome Asha Hertler in May 2025 as Director for Events. In this role, Asha will manage mission-critical events including conferences, workshops, meetings, and other assigned special events alongside the Commission’s other Director, Victoria Clark, under the leadership of the Chief of Staff. 

“I am thrilled to welcome Asha to our team in support of the amazing events that the Commission delivers,” said Nicole Biever, Chief of Staff. “Asha’s institutional experience in supporting students, project planning, and impactful programming will bring additional innovative approaches to our already popular events that serve thousands of individuals each year.” 

Asha most recently served as an Academic Advising Coordinator at South Dakota State University. She holds an M.Ed. in Counseling & Human Development, Administration of Student Affairs, from South Dakota State University and a B.A. in Communication, Mass Media and English, Print Journalism, from Concordia College (MN).
