MSCHE Welcomes New Vice Presidents for Institutional Field Relations
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) welcomes three new staff members who will serve as Vice Presidents for Institutional Field Relations.

Aminah Massenburg
Aminah Massenburg joined the Commission in October 2024 as Vice President for Institutional Field Relations – Specialized Compliance Support. In this role, Aminah provides enhanced legal and regulatory support as an additional liaison to institutions engaged in particular accreditation processes. This includes non-compliance, closures, changing accreditors, or complex substantive changes. In addition, she supports Commission representatives engaged in the work of accreditation. Prior to joining the Commission, Aminah served as Director of Compliance at The College of New Jersey.
Kristy Bishop and Michael Bowden will join the Commission as Vice Presidents for Institutional Field Relations in January 2025. They will serve as liaisons to member institutions, providing advice and assisting them with accreditation activities.

Kristy Bishop
Kristy previously served as Interim President at Westmoreland County Community College (PA). Also at Westmoreland, she was the Vice President of Academic Affairs and the institution’s Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO).
Prior to joining the Commission, Michael served as Assistant Vice President for Planning and Assessment and as ALO at Coppin State University (MD).
