Darren Moore Elevated to Salesforce Administrator

Mr. Darren Moore was elevated to Salesforce Administrator in July 2023. In this new role, Darren will support the work of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) through the leadership of critical operations that drive Salesforce and its connectivity with other enterprise applications.

“I want to congratulate Darren on this promotion, as it is well-deserved, and the Commission will benefit from the skills and expertise that he brings into this position,” said Mr. Christian Slater, Senior Director for Technology Services. “Darren has already contributed to the Information Systems Department and the work of all of our constituents through technical support in his former role, and the focus he will now place directly upon Salesforce will result in greater technological gains for the Commission.”

Darren holds an M.B.A. and B.S. in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland and A.S. in Electronic Systems from the Community College of the Air Force (MS). He served in the United States Air Force (2004-2010) and was Honorably Discharged in 2010. Prior to joining the Commission, Darren served as Fiscal Monitoring Specialist for the South Dakota Department of Education; Help Desk Coordinator for WayTek, Inc.; Mobility Support Technician for Cannon Group Inc.; Field Technician for Liberty Technology; and RF/Computer Communications Technician, Network Administrator, and Satellite Communications Radio/Computer Operator for the United States Air Force. Darren has worked in education as a Special Education Tutor and coached many youth football and basketball teams.
