On March 9, 2023, the Commission voted to approve the standards following the endorsement of the standards by the presidents of its member institutions. The standards are effective July 1, 2023. Institutions participating in Self-Study Institute in the fall of 2023, with visits in 2025-2026, will be the first cohort to undergo Self-Study under these standards.

The Evidence Expectations by Standard is also available to download on the website. The Commission voted to adopt the Evidence Expectations by Standard during its June 21-22, 2023, meeting following a call for public comment.

A recording of the webinar titled Part 1: Let’s Celebrate the Revised Standards addressing the revised standards is available online. A recording is also available for the second standards event titled Part 2: What Do I Include? Documenting Compliance under the Revised Standards. Additional standards events will be offered throughout 2023 and 2024, including during the MSCHE 2023 Annual Conference on December 4-6, 2023.
