Prison Education Programs (PEP) Resources Available

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) revised Substantive Change Policy, Procedures, and Guidelines including Prison Education Programs (PEP) is now available. Effective July 1, 2023, the revisions adapt MSCHE policies, procedures, and guidelines to the new responsibilities assigned to accrediting agencies by revised federal regulations that implement Pell reinstatement and ensure high-quality postsecondary education in correctional facilities. Revised documents are available on the Commission’s Browse Policies page. A new substantive change request form for PEP is effective July 1, 2023, and will be available on the Commission’s Substantive Change page on July 5, 2023.
