MSCHE Institutional Members Vote to Endorse Revised Standards
The institutional members of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) have overwhelmingly voted to endorse the revised Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation as presented.
“I want to thank the leaders of our institutions who participated in this critical process and then brought their institution’s voice to these changes through a formal vote,” stated MSCHE President Dr. Heather F. Perfetti. “The sense of excitement around the revisions signals the transparency of this process, the rigor within which the review was undertaken, and the continuing commitment to the expectation that institutions hold for each other to meet and exceed the Standards.”
The revised standards will now be presented for approval by the Commission at their next meeting on March 9, 2023, and will go into effect on July 1, 2023. Be sure to join us at upcoming events where we will continue to discuss the revisions to the standards.
