MSCHE Announces Non-Compliance Warning to ASA College

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) has taken action to issue a non-compliance warning to ASA College.

The warning follows submission of a supplemental information report as required by the Commission on October 13, 2021. The Commission action of non-compliance on October 28, 2021, includes Standard VI (Planning, Resources, and Institutional Improvement); Standard VII (Governance, Leadership and Administration); and Requirements of Affiliation 11, 12, 13, and 14. A monitoring report is due December 1, 2021, “demonstrating evidence that the institution has achieved and can sustain ongoing compliance” with the above standards and requirements of affiliation as well as to address “demonstrated adherence to all issues of” Standard II (Ethics and Integrity) and Requirement of Affiliation 5. Following submission of the monitoring report, a follow-up team visit will occur. In addition, “a prompt Commission liaison guidance visit” will be scheduled to discuss the Commission’s expectations.

ASA College remains accredited while on warning. Current federal regulations and Commission policy limit the period during which the institution may be in non-compliance.

For more information and further details regarding the warning, visit the institution’s directory listing https://www.msche.org/institution/0837 to access ASA College’s Statement of Accreditation Status (SAS), including accreditation history.
