MSCHE Signs Letter Urging Congress to Protect DACA Recipients and Dreamers
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) joined the American Council on Education and nearly 60 other higher education groups in signing a letter to congressional leaders asking lawmakers to quickly pass legislation to permanently protect Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients and Dreamers.
The letter is in keeping with other advocacy efforts that MSCHE has joined in recent months on behalf of students and institutions. The Commission had previously supported efforts to uphold DACA by signing onto an amicus brief spearheaded by ACE.
