Former MSCHE Commission Chair Dr. William B. DeLauder Passes Away

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education extends its condolences to Delaware State University and to the family of Dr. William B. DeLauder, who passed away on May 21. Dr. DeLauder was the eighth president of Delaware State and during his tenure chaired the Commission from 2000-2002.

Dr. DeLauder originally joined the Commission in 1994, completing the unexpired term of another Commission member. He began his first full term in 1995 and joined the Executive Committee in 1998. The Commission elected DeLauder Chair beginning January 2000.
